Organisers of HAPA wards 2021 call for entries

The organiser of the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards, HAPAwards, have called for submission of entries for the year in review.

The 5th annual edition of HAPAwards is billed to take place at the Orpheum Theatre from October 22 to October 24 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

The theme for this year’s edition is tagged ‘Collaboration for Global Development, Peace and Prosperity.’

Speaking on the event, the producer and African representative of HAPAwards, Adeola Odunowo revealed that the award creates an avenue to appreciate and honor exceptional entertainers and dignitaries under one roof.

‘We won’t relent from recognising these exceptional talents and creative individuals who enable us to see ourselves in each other. We will continue to celebrate our triumphs and illustrate our flaws while creating a space for narratives that reflect our rich, collective cultures and history.’

Speaking further, he said the journey to the 2021 edition of Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPAwards) has started with the submissions of entries in different categories ranging from music to film, comedy, fashion, and honorees that will be specially recognised.

HAPAwards is a United States of America award that recognizes outstanding individuals, whose lives have been marked by extraordinary personal and professional accomplishments.

Why Presidency Must Return To S/South – Obaseki

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to zone its 2023 presidential ticket to the South-South. He made the call while speaking at the weekend in Benin, during a reception in honour of Chief Dan Orbih , who was recently elected National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the PDP. Recall that the South-South under the PDP produced President Goodluck Jonathan who took over the mantle of leadership in 2010, after President Umaru Musa Yar’adua’ s death.
